Night Section 4
Well, once again, the story was entertaining, but cruel. I hate that the Nazis were so mean to the Jews. They punished poor Elie for accidentally seeing Idek with a woman prisoner. It's not like he was trying to catch them or anything! But I'm glad that he at least had that girl to help him. It's kind of cool that they met each other later in life, also.

I don't understand why they hated the jews so much, what did they ever do to them? Did all the S.S. people really hate the jews or was it just because they were told to hate them? I also think it's cool that they met in Paris later in life.
I also really hate how mean everyone was to the Jews. I wish that humanity wasn't capable of such cruelty. I also thought that it was neat that Elie met the French girl years later.
I also don't understand why the germans hated the Jews. They are the same exept their religion. It's not like the Jews did anything to make the Germans hate them.
Yea im not so sure on why the nazi hated the jews so much either.Why was it the jews?why couldnt it be catholics or something?This part of the book was very crule.
You have a great point. I honestly never understood war in the first place. Anyone who is involved will always get hurt. I really feel bad for Elie.
I don't get what the Nazis had against the Jews. I also don't see how this story is entertaining to you?? Doesn't it make you want to cry?
